Our Everyday Life

November 9, 2016 - January 15, 2017

Sponsored by

Artists have long depicted scenes of everyday life from prehistoric times through the Renaissance and up to the present day.  Some aspects of everyday life are timeless; others are imbued with technological change. At this Cedarburg Art Museum exhibition the public can see works in oil, acrylic, pastel, egg tempera, and watercolor painting, colored pencil, sculpture, jewelry, punch needle embroidery, mixed media, and photography. Our Everyday Life will be display through January 15, 2017 during museum hours.  Regular museum hours at the Cedarburg Art Museum are Wednesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm and Sunday noon to 4pm. The exhibition is sponsored by Partnership Bank.

Cappuccino Dreams

Nancee Ariango - Punch Needle Embroidery is an ancient art. Remnants of the work has been found all over the world. It was originally used to mark or decorate clothing. After retiring from a 35-year career in interior design, Nancee started designing punch needle patterns. She has a studio in the Farm House Gallery in Cedarburg, where she teaches classes & workshops.
