A Digital Exhibition Chronicling Wisconsin's Safer-at-Home Order
As a response to this global crisis, the Cedarburg Art Museum will be assembling a digital, online exhibition of local experiences in the form of collaborative, crowdsourced work.
Free pocket sketchbooks will be available to pick up on the museum's front porch starting Monday, April 6.
Individuals, families, couples, friends, are all encouraged to pick up a book and record their experiences of this unprecedented time. You do not need to be an artist to contribute! This is open to everyone, regardless of skill level, background, or situation.
All we ask is for you to fill the sketchbook however feels right- draw, paint, write, collage, or something else! Whatever expresses your feelings, thoughts, and activities.
Sketchbooks are due back to the museum the Wednesday following the conclusion of the Safer-at-Home order! They will then be scanned and uploaded into an online exhibition space.
Record your truth. You will have the option to have your work displayed anonymously or with your first name if you don't want your full name attached!
